I am a blue dolphin, which is probably the most gorgeous of all the dolphins in the ocean. When Nicky Nautilus called on me to join the Ocean Protectors, I thought it was because of my star quality, but I learned that I had a talent that even I was unaware of.

I am a nautilus. PLEASE don’t call me a “snail”. I can trace my ancestry back 500 million years, which means we lived 265 million years before the dinosaurs. But I don’t think that in the history of the nautilus, there has ever been an adventure like the one that brought me together with the Ocean Protectors to save King Neptune.

Unlike most of the Ocean Protectors, my work takes place above sea level. Sure, Denise, can leap high, but she doesn’t have wings! I flew in from my home on the rugged coast of Scotland to join the team and it’s a good thing I did. Who else could offer a birdseye view of the situation?

I was playing with my brother and sister at our home in the Bering Sea in Alaska, when Nicky Nautilus appeared. Taking on the challenge for King Neptune was a much bigger job than pushing around icebergs! But I guess a huge job needs some big helpers.

Being large and hungry doesn’t make you a bully, but we sharks are always viewed as the bad guys in the ocean. I was fine being a young shark when humans stole me from my home and attached horns to my head. You’d be angry, too! My life was never the same after that experience, and I’ll never let the humans — or those Ocean Protectors — forget it!
